Health & Safety



The safety and well-being of our employees and customers is fundamental to our business. We achieve this by managing risk, implementing a robust Health and Safety Management System, and having full commitment from everyone in our company to working in a safe and responsible manner.

With the assistance of Well Aware Ltd, company policies and procedures have been implemented as part of the Safety Management System, and also included as part of our health and safety culture are:-

  • Employee Involvement
  • Risk Assessment
  • Information and Communication
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Accident Investigation
  • Audit and Review

Health and Safety Induction Training is given to every employee on their first day of employment. Continual supervision and monitoring is then given until employees are fully qualified in their role. We also offer employees specific training such as First Aid Training. Refresher Training is given on an annual basis or as and when required. Contractors also receive a safety induction prior to entering our premises.

We encourage all of our employees to have active involvement in any health and safety decisions, and are open to any feedack regarding issues or ideas within the day to day running of the business.

Risk Assessments are carried out on all aspects of risk within the business, control measures are put in place where necessary and all information is then cascaded to all of our employees with the findings of the Risk Assessments. The Risk Assessments are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as and when required.

All health and safety information is communicated to our employees during Induction, Refresher Training or day to day meetings when required.

Atlantic Performance Centre Ltd have site and task specific policies and procedures which all employees adhere to. The policies and procedures are reviewed on an annual basis or as and when required.

Atlantic Performance Centre Ltd is proud of it's excellent safety record, however there is a policy in place which states that we will investigate all work-related accidents or incidents, implement control measures, record the findings and ensure all employees receive relevant information or receive refresher training to ensure the incident does not occur again.

To achieve continual improvement an annual Audit and Review is carried out. Where necessary policies and procedures are amended and updates are given to all employees. Findings are recorded for reference.
